30th November 2016 brought in exciting news for some while being a letdown for other Canada immigration aspirants. As per the latest express entry draw which came out on 30th, 559 applicants, under PNP list, received ITA having at least 786 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) points. This is the first list that has come up after the significant changes in Canada immigration were executed on 19th November 2016 and has set record in the first go itself as 786 is the highest CRS score needed since the day Express Entry system was started in 2015 January. This score is quite far off from the previous 470 CRS score that was needed in the last express entry draw on 16th November 2016. This difference is due to additional 600 points garnered by applicants under PNP for job offer. As the invites were only offered to the group of PNP there has been a significant inflation in the point’s requirement. This is 25th express entry draw of 2016 and 48th since this system started in January 2015. Right now invites have been sent to 559 lucky candidates. Let’s see how the change in point system affects the chances of Canada immigration for candidates in future.
