On May 11, Canada welcomed 545 Express Entry applicants to apply for permanent residency.

PNP draws are held twice a month in Canada, and FSWP and CEC invitation rounds will begin in early July.

All of the invited applicants had previously obtained a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of at least 753.

Because Express Entry candidates receive an automatic 600 points boost when they acquire a provincial nomination, the minimum score was rather high. The lowest-scoring candidates would have received 172 base points if they had not been nominated.

The tie-breaking rule for this draw was set for December 15, 2021 at 20:32:57 UTC. Candidates with the lowest eligible score were only invited if their profiles had been submitted to the Express Entry pool by this date.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) welcomed 829 PNP candidates with scores of at least 772 in the last invitation round.
