Since the beginning of 2021, British Columbia has given almost 10,000 invitations to seek for a provincial nomination.

On October 19, B.C. welcomed 85 tech employees to apply for a provincial nomination

The invites were sent out through the BC PNP Tech stream of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is an economic immigration route that the province of British Columbia uses to attract experienced, in-demand foreign employees. The programme provides a path to permanent residency for those who desire to live and work in British Columbia.

Candidates invited through British Columbia's Tech draws must fulfil the requirements of one of the Express Entry BC and Skills immigration categories, which are administered through the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

Candidates in this draw were from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories, and they needed a provincial score of 75 to be invited.

Candidates who have been invited to apply for the nomination now have 30 days to do so.
