Alberta has the largest PNP draw in 2021. So far this year, 3,157 Express Entry applicants have been asked to submit for a provincial nomination from Alberta. On August 10, Alberta held its largest draw of the year, inviting 396 Express Entry applicants to file for a provincial nomination. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) invited applicants who scored at least 300 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), the lowest score necessary to be considered for a nomination. Through the Alberta Express Entry stream, these candidates can now seek for a provincial nomination. More applicants were invited in this draw than in the previous Alberta Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw, although the CRS requirement stayed the same. In the latter months of 2020, it went on a brief pause. In 2021, Alberta will be able to issue 6,250 nomination certificates.
