British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program: 409 invitations issued in latest draw

The province of British Columbia(BC)issued a total of 409 invitations to apply (ITA’s)in its recent draw that took place on November 12, 2019 under the Skilled Worker Stream and the International Graduate Stream of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). British Columbia has been launching frequent draws since last few months to invite a considerable number of qualified and skilled candidates under the BC Provincial Nominee Program.

Latest BC PNP draw released on November 12, 2019

In its recent draw, which was released on November 12, 2019, the province of BC issued a total of 409 invitations under its different prominent visa categories. The minimum points required under each of these categories are described in the table below.

Detailed overview of the BC PNP recent draw held on November 12, 2019

The total number of invitations being issued by the BC under various categories of BC PNP is equivalent to 409 for the November 12, 2019 draw.

Also, although the points required for the category SI –Entry Level and Semi-Skilled changed slightly, decreasing from 77 to 75. However, it is the same for all the other categories as it was in the last draw of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).

It should be noted that the province has not shared any particular details with regards to separate allocation of invites to the selected applicants under each of the categories described above.

Further, the BC PNP has also launched “Tech Pilot Draws” on November 5, 2019 and has invited a total of 67 candidates under this particular category.

Invites issued under the Entrepreneur Visa Category

Other than the draws launched specifically for skilled workers and international graduates, the province of BC has also issued invitations to apply under its Entrepreneur Category Visa Stream. The draws under this particular stream were launched on November 12, 2019 and invited a total number of 23 candidates to apply for the British Columbia’s PNP.

Invitations issued under the two different Entrepreneur Visa Categories by the government of British Columbia are described in the table below.

The total number of invitations issued under the BC Entrepreneur Category was equivalent to 23 as for the draw released on November 12, 2019.
