On November 8, Saskatchewan sent out 35 invitations to submit applications under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

The province welcomed 10 applicants from the Occupations-In-Demand category and 21 applicants from the Express Entry category. For both categories, a score of 69 on the Expression of Interest form was required. All invited applicants underwent evaluations of their academic credentials.

Four candidates who now reside in Ukraine were also invited by the province as a reaction to the ongoing crisis.

Since September 28, this is the first SINP drawing. In anticipation of NOC 2021, when the existing National Occupational Categorization system will be changed to incorporate a new manner of classification for skilled individuals who desire to immigrate to Canada under an Express Entry programme, many provinces have suspended their PNP draws.
