The Province of Prince Edward Island Invited 113 Candidates in the Express Entry, Workforce Impact and Business Impact Immigration Categories in a New June 20 Draw Draw .   Prince Edward Island, or Prince Edward Island, hosts monthly invitations for immigration applicants that meet the needs of the province's labor market.   Applicants who receive an invitation in the Express Entry or Workforce Impact categories on Prince Edward Island may apply for a provincial application for permanent residence in Canada.   The vast majority of invitations issued on June 20 - 106 were sent to candidates in both categories.   Prince Edward Island's Express Entry is linked to the federal express entry system, which is Canada's largest source of skilled foreign labor.   Provincial Entry Enrolled Candidates are awarded an additional 600 points for their ranking score, effectively guaranteeing an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada from the Canadian federal government.   To be considered for a provincial application in either category, the first step is to register an Expression of Interest, or EOI, with the PEI Immigration Applicant Program. Top ranked applicants are invited to apply for a provincial application through monthly draws.   Business Impact: Work Permit Flow Invitations  Seven invitations were also sent to candidates from the Business Impact activity: Prince Edward Island Work Permit.   This component is for eligible foreign entrepreneurs with business or management experience who wish to invest in a business in PEI.   Business Impact applicants invited through the Prince Edward Island Work Permit Program may apply for approval of their business proposal.   Approved individuals receive a letter of support from Prince Edward Island and can apply for a temporary work permit from the federal government of Canada.   The work permit series also operates on a declaration of interest basis and the lowest ranked candidate in the March 21 draw received a score of 112.   Prince Edward Island's PNP is one of the most active in Canada and has helped the province achieve a 1.8% population growth rate in 2018, allowing Ontario to reach the highest rate of population growth in the country.   Reference from CICNews
