The latest record-breaking draw increased the number of Manitoba invites awarded in 2021 to 6,139. On July 27, Manitoba's immigration programme achieved unprecedented heights. The province welcomed 1,140 Express Entry applicants to apply for a provincial nomination, the highest number ever in a single draw. Candidates selected through Express Entry are eligible for the Skilled Workers Overseas stream. • The total number of LAAs issued is 1,140 • Cutoff point for ranking is 557 The previous record was set on June 28, when the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) accepted 1,017 Express Entry candidates. To obtain the Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA), they must have already submitted a profile to Manitoba's Expression of Interest (EOI) system and received an EOI score of at least 557. This score is based on Manitoba's EOI scoring matrix, which is tabulated. However, it is not the same as Express Entry's Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). This draw does not need the use of CRS. If invited candidates obtain a provincial nomination from Manitoba, their score will be immediately increased by 600 points. This is not a Manitoba-specific issue. This incentive will be given to provincial nominees in any Express Entry-linked Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), putting them first in line to obtain an Invitation letter for Permanent Resident status.
