
Alberta publishes 180 notices of intent to express candidates with a CRS 425 score
Alberta has released details of the recent draw of its PNP component associated with Express Entry, held on July 5, 2019. A sum of 180 NOI (interest notifications) was announced to the express entry candidates with a complete ranking system score (C.R.S) of less than 425.
The Alberta Express Express stream allows the Alberta PCP to search the Canadian Express Entry Entry Group for candidates who meet the Stream Qualification Criteria.
A job offer or previous work experience in the province of Alberta is not required to qualify for the Stream Alberta Express Entry, but applicants must demonstrate that they have "strong ties to Alberta" and practice a profession that strongly supports Alberta's growth and economic priorities in diversification. The province of Alberta does not produce a list of appropriate occupations.
A.I.N.P. also indicates that it can give preference to candidates with:
- A job offer or relevant work experience in the province of Alberta;
- A degree from a post-secondary institution in Canada and a real job offer; or
- A parent, brother or child already resides in Alberta.
