Manitoba invited 20 candidates through a “special immigration measure” that identified those affected by ongoing events in Ukraine
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) organises periodic draws to invite Ukrainian citizens to apply for provincial nomination as a special immigration measure.
This aims to assist persons who have been affected by Russia's invasion of Ukraine in settling in the province. Since mid-March, the province has held three of these special invitation rounds.
The most recent one was on April 11th, when 20 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) with a minimum score requirement of 60 points were given.
Candidates needed a CLB 4 in each language area, a legitimate language exam, and a documented link to Manitoba, such as a close family, past job, or studies in Manitoba, to be considered.
