Depending on the provincial immigration stream, the minimum score range this week is between 60 and 123.
More than 157 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applicants in British Columbia have received invitations to apply in the province's weekly invitation draw.
The draw was held on June 14, 2022. British Columbia is the only province in Canada that issues invites weekly.
General draw results
Candidates for PNPs in British Columbia are often invited through general and targeted draws depending on in-demand industries and vocations. This week, 138 invites in the general draw were given with minimum Skilled Immigration Registration System (SIRS) scores ranging from 76 to 123, depending on the pathway.
• Skilled Worker with a score of at least 109
• Option Skilled Worker EEBC with a score of at least 123
• Graduate of a foreign institution with a minimum score of 96
• Option International Graduate-EEBC with a score of at least 106
• Minimum score of 76 for Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled.
Targeted draw results
Recently, British Columbia has begun conducting targeted draws for individuals who satisfy the minimal qualifications for certain National Occupational Classifications (NOCs) that are in demand in the province, such as healthcare and tech jobs.
For targeted draws, SIRS scores may not have to be as high as for the whole pool. This week, each targeted category required a SIRS score of at least 60. The following number of applicants were invited by BC for their targeted draws:
• 12 early childhood educators (NOC 4214)
• 7 healthcare occupations
• Less than 5 other priority occupations (NOCs 3114 and 3213)
