Toronto, October 9, 2025: The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held a new draw on October 9, inviting candidates under its Employer Job Offer streams. This draw continues Ontario’s efforts to fill key labour gaps and attract skilled workers who can contribute to the province’s economy.

Details of the Latest Draw
In this round, Ontario issued invitations across three major streams under the Employer Job Offer category.
- Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream — 4,128 invitations
- Employer Job Offer: International Student stream — 5,540 invitations
- Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream — 811 invitations
Supporting Ontario’s Labour Market Needs
The Employer Job Offer streams allow Ontario employers to hire qualified foreign professionals for full-time, permanent positions. Through these draws, the province continues to address skill shortages in sectors such as healthcare, construction, technology, and manufacturing.
Each stream targets a specific group of candidates:
- The Foreign Worker Stream focuses on skilled professionals with experience in eligible occupations.
- The International Student Stream supports recent graduates from Canadian institutions who have valid job offers in Ontario.
- The In-Demand Skills Stream aims to fill roles in occupations that face a persistent shortage of local talent.
Eligibility and Application
To qualify for an invitation, candidates must hold a valid job offer from an eligible Ontario employer and meet program-specific requirements. Employers must demonstrate their ability to support the position and comply with OINP guidelines.
Once invited, candidates have a limited period to submit a complete application through the OINP e-Filing Portal. Missing the submission deadline may lead to cancellation of the invitation.
Ontario’s Ongoing Immigration Strategy
This draw aligns with Ontario’s long-term plan to attract skilled talent and strengthen the provincial workforce. The OINP continues to use targeted draws to select candidates who match current labour needs.
By focusing on employer-driven pathways, Ontario ensures that new immigrants are well-positioned for success upon arrival, contributing directly to business growth and regional development.
What’s Next for Candidates
Invited candidates should now prepare their documents and submit their applications before the deadline. Those who did not receive an invitation can remain in the EOI pool and improve their chances in future rounds by updating their profiles with new qualifications or work experience.
