On April 12, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued its weekly round of invites.
Inviting more than 155 BC immigration applicants to file for a provincial nomination.
A total of 124 applicants were chosen at random from a BC Tech pool. Candidates invited through BC's Tech draws must fulfil the requirements of one of the Express Entry BC or Skills immigration categories, which are maintained by the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS) in British Columbia.
Candidates in this draw had to have a minimum provincial score of 87 and were from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories.
Three draws for applicants in certain occupations were also organised by the province. Twenty-four early childhood educators were invited, with the possibility of qualifying for the Skilled Worker and International Graduate sub-categories.
Seven healthcare professionals were also asked to apply for the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level, and Semi-Skilled sub-categories. Candidates required a provincial score of 70 in each of these draws.
In addition, under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate sub-categories, fewer than five veterinarians, animal health technologists, and veterinary technicians were asked to apply. To be invited, these individuals required to have a score of at least 63.
