{"id":9973,"date":"2020-11-21T09:09:02","date_gmt":"2020-11-21T09:09:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/updates\/?p=9973"},"modified":"2020-12-01T09:19:01","modified_gmt":"2020-12-01T09:19:01","slug":"prince-edward-island-invited-254-eligible-candidates-in-the-latest-pnp-draw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/updates\/prince-edward-island-invited-254-eligible-candidates-in-the-latest-pnp-draw\/","title":{"rendered":"Prince Edward Island invited 254 eligible candidates in the latest PNP draw"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Candidates that have submitted their profiles towards Express Entry System, Labour Impact Assessment Category and Business Impact Immigration Stream have now become one step closer to the permanent residence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>November 21, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The province of Prince Edward Island has issued a total of 254 invitations to the Labour Impact and Express Entry candidates as well as to the Business Impact candidates in its latest PNP draw released on November 19, 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The distribution of the nominations as done by the<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/prince-edward-provincial-nominee-program\/\">Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP)<\/a> <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">can be explained as in which most of the invitations, that are, a total of 221 invitations were being received by candidates that have applied in the Express Entry and Labour Impact immigration categories. In addition to this, the remaining 33 invitations were issued to the Business Impact candidates as for this draw, they were able to get the request letters at a minimum point threshold of 92.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) enables the governments of different provinces and territories of Canada to select eligible professionals who meet their labour market demands. In some of the cases, these PNP programs are also aligned with the Canada\u2019s federal Express Entry System.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>PEI Express Entry Category<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The PEI PNPs Express Entry Category is associated directly with the Canadian Government<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/canada-express-entry-pr-visa-program\/\">Express Entry System<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Eligible Entry Candidates who receive a provincial nomination are awarded an additional 600 points towards their existing CRS score of the Express Entry application and are therefore guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the next Express Entry Draw for the permanent residence of Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Express Entry candidates who will receive a provincial nomination are awarded with an additional 600 points towards their existing<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/canada-comprehensive-ranking-crs-points-calculator\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">score and are therefore guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for the permanent residence of Canada in the next Federal Express Entry Draw.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In order to get considered for the Provincial Nomination from the province of OEI, Express Entry candidates are required to create and submit the EOI profile towards the PEI PNP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These EOI profiles are then given points based on the unique point grid system followed by the province. The highest scoring candidate then receives an invitation to apply (ITA) from the draws that takes place frequently in the gap of approximately one month time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Further, it should be noted that the PEI PNP has not provided ant breakdown of the total number of candidates that were selected under the Express Entry immigration category as well under the other Labour Impact Category nor they have intimidated the minimum EOI score needed for each stream.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Labour Impact Category<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Labour Impact Category of the PEI PNP is designed for the foreign nationals who already have a valid job offer from the PEI and have also received support from the employer based in PEI. It is further being divided into three immigration stream: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker and International Graduate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Candidates in this immigration category as well should also submit the EOI profile so that they can be considered for the provincial nomination under the Labour Impact immigration category.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Business Impact Category<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A total number of 32 candidates that were invited under the Business Impact immigration category in the recent draw are required to have a minimum EOI score equivalent to 102.
