{"id":9850,"date":"2020-08-13T13:59:54","date_gmt":"2020-08-13T13:59:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/updates\/?p=9850"},"modified":"2020-11-04T04:35:07","modified_gmt":"2020-11-04T04:35:07","slug":"manitoba-pnp-253-invitations-issued-to-eligible-candidates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/updates\/manitoba-pnp-253-invitations-issued-to-eligible-candidates\/","title":{"rendered":"Manitoba PNP: 253 invitations issued to eligible candidates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The provincial government of Manitoba has released details of its largest draw for the year 2020, in which a total of 253 candidates are being invited to apply for the provincial nomination program of Manitoba in the draw which held o August 13.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/manitoba-provincial-nominee-program\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">invited eligible candidates under two categories that are skilled workers and international students\u2019 graduates under its three immigration streams: Skilled Workers Overseas, Skilled Workers in Manitoba and International Education immigration stream. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The provincial invitations, which are more prominently called as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA), were being distributed to eligible candidates as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 197<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Skilled Workers Overseas: 33<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">International Graduate Stream: 23<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The province has issued a total of 3086 LAAs to eligible candidates in the above categories so far in the year 2020. This was MPNPs 96<sup>th<\/sup> draw since the provincial nominee program has started in the year April 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>EOI System of Manitoba<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Individuals who want to immigrate to Manitoba through the Provincial Nominee Program of the province or the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) are required to register themselves by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the MPNP to receive the Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) through the Skilled Workers Overseas stream and the Skilled Workers in Manitoba streams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Under Manitoba\u2019s EOI system, such eligible applicants are ranked out of 1000 points across Human Capital factors that include their education, employment experience, language proficiency in English and\/or French, connection with the province, along with other characteristics. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The EOI cut-off scores for the August 13 draw are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream: 485<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Skilled Worker Overseas stream: 672<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Details about Manitoba Immigration Stream<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Skilled Workers in Manitoba immigration stream and the Skilled Workers Overseas Category enable the provincial government of Manitoba to nominate eligible and skilled candidates who have the potential to support the labour market needs of the province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">People who are located overseas are required to have a prior established connection with the province. This can be demonstrated in various ways, that are through close family relationships or friends already residing in the province, previous work experience in the province or an invitation received under one of the Strategic Recruitment Initiatives of the MPNP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Further, applicants are not required to be physically present in the province during the time of application submission. All successful candidates that are selected under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category should meet certain eligibility criteria, which include having a full-time permanent employment offer from an employer already based in Manitoba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">International students who have graduated from an academic institution in Manitoba might receive a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) under the International Education Stream if they have the required in-demand skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><strong><em>Express Entry<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Among all the Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) that were issued by the MPNP in the latest August 13 draw, a total of 9 LAAs were issued to those eligible candidates that have a valid profile in the Express Entry System which is operated directly by the Federal Express Entry System.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applicants that are eligible for the<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/canada-express-entry-pr-visa-program\/\">Express Entry System<\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">are then ranked on the basis of Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score which further takes into consideration the human capital factors to assess the candidates. This includes, age, employment experience, education and language proficiency skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The highest-scoring applicants are invited to apply for the permanent residence of Canada through the regular federal Express Entry draws that selects candidates from the Express Entry Pool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Those candidates who receive a nomination from the province are awarded with additional 600 points towards their existing<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/canada-comprehensive-ranking-crs-points-calculator\/\">Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)<\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> points in their EOI and therefore are guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the subsequent draw from the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">All the Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination letter from the province of Manitoba in this particular draw need to provide their valid Express Entry Number along with job seeker validation code.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs): Providing pathways to Canada immigration<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Yes!
