The provincial government of British Columbia has invited a total of 67 eligible candidates through their BC PNP Tech Pilot Draw to apply for its provincial nomination program for permanent residence which took place recently on September 8, 2020. <\/span><\/p>\n

All the candidates selected under the tech Pilot immigration stream receive an invitation directly from the<\/span> British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)<\/a><\/span> and are necessarily required to have a prior job offer that should be a minimum of 365 days duration and also from one of the tech pilot\u2019s in-demand occupation list of 29 selected professions.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The draw has invited candidates that have applied under the Skilled Workers category and International Graduates category of the Skilled Immigration streams and Express Entry BC (EEBC) stream which is operated by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). Selected candidates in all these immigration subcategories require a minimum provincial score equivalent to 80 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the eligible candidates that have registered under the Express Entry BC immigration categories will receive an additional 600 award points towards their existing Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in case their provincial nomination gets approved by the BC PNP. The additional points thus included effectively guarantees that the candidate will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply towards Canadian immigration or permanent residence program in the subsequent Federal Express Entry Draw.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rest all candidates invited under the Skills Immigration categories will be having their immigration applications for the Canadian permanent residence processed directly by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) as soon as their provincial nomination letter will be issued by the province of British Columbia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The BC PNP Tech Pilot draw was first started in 2017 and has been extended several times since then and also has been extended again until June 21. The BC provincial nominee program Tech Pilot draw is seen as the most reliable and fast-track immigration programs for all the in-demand tech professionals and also international students.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to apply for the BC PNP?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

To apply towards the Skills Immigration or through the Express Entry BC categories, the candidates are required to create a profile on the BC PNP\u2019s online portal and register themselves under their Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).<\/span><\/p>\n

All the eligible applicants are then assessed and also issued an individual score based on the human capital factors which includes education, employment experience, English language proficiency sills and also the location of their employment.<\/span><\/p>\n
