The last date for submission of applications for this Visa is December 31, 2014.<\/li>\n<li>The FSWP 2014 was launched in May, 2014.<\/li>\n<li>Those who are unable to meet this fast approaching deadline can apply through Express Entry system that comes into effect from January 1, 2015.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Federal Skilled Worker Programme &ndash; What all is required<\/h2>\n<p align=\"justify\">The aspirants of the <strong>Federal Skilled Worker Programme (FSWP)<\/strong> of Canada need to score minimum 67 points that is required to clear the Points System year<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The minimum score cited above is prescribed by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) authority<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">There are 50 occupations\/work areas identified by the <strong><i>Canadian authorities<\/i><\/strong> and the applicants need to have experience of one year in any of these in the past 10 years as a basic eligibility criterion<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The FSWP will be accepting 25,000 applications in all this year for consideration<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Of this total, 1,000 applications will be chosen as the final cap for each of the identified occupations<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Here, it is pertinent to note that for many of the listed 50 occupations, the acceptable limit of 1,000 is fast approaching<\/p>\n<h3><i>The other basic eligibility conditions are &#8212;<\/i><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The applicants must not have a criminal record<\/li>\n<li>Must not be suffering from serious health problems and ailments<\/li>\n<li>Must have cleared the IELTS language test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><i>Now, focusing on the Express Entry programme, one finds that<\/i><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>It is diametrically opposite to the FSWP in that unlike it, this is not a First Come First Served concept<\/li>\n<li>You will be pitted against applicants with similar education and work qualifications<\/li>\n<li>In other words, you know that you have the required work, <strong>education<\/strong> as well as the required eligibility qualifications and that your file will be processed<\/li>\n<li>But with a fixed number of maximum successful candidates staring at you combined with the rather steep demand for the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada\/federal-skilled-worker\/\" title=\"Federal Skilled Worker Programme of Canada\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Canadian Skilled Federal Worker Visa<\/strong><\/a>, the going is certain to be tough<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The hugely popular Federal Skilled Worker Programme of Canada is nearing its conclusion for the year 2014.
