Alberta Issued 132 Invitations to Express Entry Candidates in Latest Draw<\/span><\/h4>\n

Express Entry candidates with a CRS score equivalent to 400 and above received invitation to apply through Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alberta invited a total of 132 candidates from the federal Express Entry pool in the draw which took place on December 5.<\/span><\/p>\n

The invitation to apply or the Notifications of Interest (NOI) were sent to those Express Entry candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score<\/a> equivalent to 400 or higher. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Alberta Express Entry Immigration Stream enables the Alberta\u2019s provincial nominee program or the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) to select qualified and talented candidates that already have their application already submitted in the federal Express Entry system<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Express Entry system is responsible for managing the pool of applicants across three of most important Economic-Class immigration programs of Canada \u2013 Federal Skilled Worker Class<\/a> (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FST) and the Canadian Experience Class. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Express Entry candidates that have received a provincial nomination<\/a> from the province of Alberta are awarded with an additional 600 points in their CRS score and therefore are guaranteed to be issued an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence of Canada in the immediate or upcoming Express Entry draw<\/a>, thereby selecting the candidates directly from the Express Entry pool. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The cut-off score of 400 in the latest invitation round released through the Express Entry aligned AINP draw is significantly lower when compared to the cut-off scores for previous draws that were conducted under the Express Entry System in the year 2019. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The draw for the lowest score conducted so far in this year through the Express Entry System across all the three program that it manages was 438. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although a candidate does not require a previous work experience or a job offer from Alberta in order to be eligible for the AINP, but the provincial government of AINP gives preference to candidates that have:<\/span><\/p>\n
