{"id":9300,"date":"2019-11-07T10:56:32","date_gmt":"2019-11-07T10:56:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/immigration-news\/?p=9300"},"modified":"2020-01-28T12:37:51","modified_gmt":"2020-01-28T12:37:51","slug":"saskatchewan-provincial-nominee-program-858-ita-sent-to-express-entry-and-occupation-in-demand-applicants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/updates\/saskatchewan-provincial-nominee-program-858-ita-sent-to-express-entry-and-occupation-in-demand-applicants\/","title":{"rendered":"Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program: 858 ITA Sent to Express Entry and Occupation In-demand Applicants"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>858 ITA Sent to Express Entry and Occupation In-demand Applicants<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Saskatchewan released yet another important draw to eligible candidates, via its Express Entry and Occupation In-demand sub-categories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The 858 Invitation to Apply (ITA\u2019s) issued by Saskatchewan on October 31 was the sixth in the series since the last month through sent via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/saskatchewan-nominee-program-sinp-from-india\/\">Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program<\/a> or the SINP stream, which does not require an employment offer from an employer in Saskatchewan or any Canadian work experience to become eligible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The Express Entry sub-category for the province of Saskatchewan is directly linked with the federal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/canada-express-entry-pr-visa-program\/\">Express Entry program<\/a>, which manages the candidates in the pool under Canada\u2019s three Federal High Skilled Immigration categories \u2013 the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/federal-skilled-worker-program\/\">Federal Skilled Worker Class<\/a>, Federal Skilled Trades Class and the Canadian Experience Class.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/saskatchewan-immigration-demand-occupation-list\/\">Occupation In-demand<\/a> subcategory is available for those immigration candidates who do not have their profile in the Express Entry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">More than 4,700 invitation send across 11 draws since September 25<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Since September 25, SINP has held a total of six selection rounds under its Express Entry sub-category and five via occupation-in demand stream.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The provincial government of Saskatchewan was able to issue a total of 4,704 ITA\u2019s to candidates under both the sub-categories of Express Entry and Occupation In-demand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Further, these recently held draws followed the new approach being adopted by the SINP for all those occupations that are considered valid under both the sub-categories. Both of these sub-categories need a minimum of one-year work experience under an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/saskatchewan-immigration-demand-occupation-list\/\">in-demand occupation across Saskatchewan<\/a> that should be necessarily be related to your field of study, along with other eligibility criteria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The SINP\u2019s decision to move from the limited In-Demand Occupations List to Excluded occupations List during mid-September dramatically contributed towards expanding the total number of eligible occupations from just 19 to more than 200.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The draw which held on October 31 issued invitations to <strong>applicants in total 58 occupations<\/strong> that includes human resource professionals,consultants, Information system consultants and analysts, Database analysts, data administrators, technicians, Drafting technologists, aircraft inspectors and aircraft mechanics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Expression of Interest<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">In order to get considered under the provincial nomination program for Saskatchewan through either of the sub-categories, candidates should register an Expression of Interest (EOI) with Saskatchewan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Eligible candidates that are under both sub-categories are given a score out of 100, on the basis of the SINP\u2019s International Skilled Worker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/saskatchewan-pnp-immigration-points-calculator\/\">Points Assessment<\/a> Grid, which takes into consideration factors that include age, work experience, education, English and French proficiency and ant connections with Saskatchewan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The highest-ranked candidates in the pool receive an invitation to apply via regular draws that are conducted by SINP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">All the eligible candidates that have applied through Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand streams and have a score of 69 or more than that are issued an invitation to apply in the draw which held on October 31. However, the SINP also selected eligible applicants who score 68 points and had 10 years of work experience and language proficiency score equivalent to CLB 7 or higher in English or French.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Express Entry Candidates who have applied for and also received a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/provincial-nomination-program-canada\/\">provincial nomination<\/a> from Saskatchewan are granted extra 600 points in their total <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/canada-comprehensive-ranking-crs-points-calculator\/\">Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)<\/a> and therefore are guaranteed an ITA to
