430 Registered Nurses invited from the Federal Express Entry Pool<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

The October 28 draw sent 430 invitations to registered nurses <\/strong>(NOC 3021) through the Nova Scotia<\/strong> Nominee Program\u2019s Labour Market Priorities Stream.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Applicants who held work experience under the NOC 3021<\/strong> which potentially includes registered nurses or registered psychiatric nurses were sent an invitation to apply via the Nova Scotia Nominee Program<\/a> provincial draw held on October 28, 2019, thereby making them eligible to apply for the Canada Permanent Residence<\/a> (PR) program.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 430 candidates that were invited through the provincial nomination program<\/a> for Nova Scotia already had their profile present in the Federal Government\u2019s Express Entry stream. It could be described as a point-based immigration program<\/a> manages the candidate\u2019s profile who have applied for the Canadian Permanent Residence (PR) under the three major skilled immigration programs \u2013 Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and the Canadian Experience Class.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (NSNP) is directly aligned with the Express Entry Program<\/a>, that is the Labour Market Priorities Stream. This stream enables the province of Nova Scotia to search through the Express Entry pool and select candidates that possess work experience in those occupations that are facing labor shortages within the province and therefore invite them to apply for the provincial nomination program<\/a> and therefore for the permanent residence of Canada.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Following the process, if a candidate with an existing profile in the Express Entry Pool receives a nominated from any province, they are directly awarded 600 additional points in their total score. These extra points awarded to the candidate guarantees an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the candidate so that they can send their application further to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to apply for the Canadian PR.<\/span><\/p>\n

An applicant does not require ant minimum CRS score<\/a> to be considered under this provincial draw.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This recent draw was the fifth draw released by Nova Scotia via the Labour Market Priorities Stream in 2019. The last draws effectively targeted individuals working in occupation that included carpenters, financial auditors, accountant and early childhood educators as well as those candidates having French-language proficiency.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All those nursing candidates who were sent an ITA by Nova Scotia on October 28 draw are required to meet the following eligibility criteria in order to get considered for the provincial nomination program:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
