Candidates with expertise in the in-demand occupations of Saskatchewan and score high enough on the SINP Points Assessment Grid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Saskatchewan has opened its immigration program to a wider spectrum of occupations, making it possible for more individuals around the globe to settle in a province that provides plenty of work possibilities and high living standards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The program sub-categories Occupations In-Demand (OID) and Express Entry (EE) are for people with educational and work experience in a highly skilled and in-demand job. Eligible occupations in the OID and EE sub-categories are highly qualified occupations in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix levels, except for the ineligible occupations mentioned below in the SINP Excluded Occupation List. Highly qualified professions include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">NOC &#8220;A&#8221; (occupations that usually require university education);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">NOC &#8220;B&#8221; (occupations that usually require college education or apprenticeship training);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">NOC &#8220;0&#8221; (management).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The province of Saskatchewan has expanded the list of in-demand occupations associated with both its Express Entry and In-Demand Occupation sub-categories, from 19 occupations to more than 200. Rather than listing the occupations that are now eligible, the SINP is only listing the 129 occupations that are excluded. This leaves more than 200 occupations that may now be eligible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/immigration-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/SINP2BExcluded2BOccupation2BList2B28September2B162C2B201929.pdf\">Check SINP Excluded Occupation List<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Eligibility:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">You may qualify for this sub-category if you live outside Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada, are not a refugee claimant and:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Score a minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) point assessment grid;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Have at least one-year work experience in the past 10 years in your intended occupation;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Have a language score of at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Show proof of eligibility for Saskatchewan licensure, if your intended occupation is in a regulated profession or compulsory apprenticeship trade;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Have an offer of permanent, full-time employment in Saskatchewan. You&#8217;ll need a valid SINP Job Approval Letter to show proof of this. There is no specific list of jobs, but your offer is required to be in an occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level &#8220;A&#8221;, &#8220;B&#8221; or &#8220;0&#8221;, or in a designated trade in Saskatchewan.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">In order to be considered under Saskatchewan\u2019s Occupation In-Demand Sub-Category, candidates must first create a profile in Saskatchewan\u2019s Expression of Interest system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The top-scoring candidates who receive an EOI can then apply to the SINP for provincial nomination. At this point, there is a non-refundable fee of $350 required in order to complete the application. The SINP reviews each application and informs the applicant whether he or she is eligible for nomination, or not.
