The latest notice includes new nomination allocations, visa pathway openings, and changes to processing rules. These updates help skilled migrants understand what to expect in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #007bff; padding: 0px 10px; text-align: center;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #fff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/australia-pr-points-calculator\/\">Check Your Eligibility in 60 seconds<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"758\"><strong data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"758\">New Visa Allocations for 2025\u201326<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"858\">NSW has received <strong data-start=\"777\" data-end=\"806\">3,600 skilled visa places<\/strong> for this program year. The breakdown is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"997\">\n<li data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"926\">\n<p data-start=\"862\" data-end=\"926\"><strong data-start=\"862\" data-end=\"878\">2,100 places<\/strong> for the Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"927\" data-end=\"997\">\n<p data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"997\"><strong data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"945\">1,500 places<\/strong> for the Skilled Work Regional Visa (Subclass 491)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1080\">These numbers determine how many applicants NSW can nominate throughout the year.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1149\"><strong data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1149\">Subclass 190: Invitation Rounds Restart in January 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1322\">NSW has already completed <strong data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1204\">three invitation rounds<\/strong> this year. Monthly invitation rounds will <strong data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1274\">restart in January 2026<\/strong> and continue until the full allocation is used.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1406\">So far, NSW has already nominated <strong data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1405\">around 25% of its yearly Subclass 190 quota<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"1432\"><strong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1430\">Important Note<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1433\" data-end=\"1545\">Only applicants with occupations listed on the <strong data-start=\"1480\" data-end=\"1499\">NSW Skills List<\/strong> will be considered for a 190 visa invitation.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"1614\"><strong data-start=\"1555\" data-end=\"1614\">Subclass 491: Key Updates for Regional Skilled Migrants<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1616\" data-end=\"1775\">The Subclass 491 visa program includes several pathway updates for the new year. These changes will guide applicants who wish to live and work in regional NSW.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1782\" data-end=\"1848\"><strong data-start=\"1786\" data-end=\"1848\">Pathway 1 \u2013 Work in Regional NSW (Opening 19 January 2026)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1866\">Applicants must:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1985\">\n<li data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1914\">\n<p data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"1914\">Meet the <strong data-start=\"1879\" data-end=\"1907\">minimum income threshold<\/strong>, and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1915\" data-end=\"1985\">\n<p data-start=\"1917\" data-end=\"1985\">Have <strong data-start=\"1922\" data-end=\"1959\">at least six months of employment<\/strong> in a regional NSW area.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1987\" data-end=\"2062\">All 491-eligible occupations can apply if they meet Pathway 1 requirements.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2069\" data-end=\"2136\"><strong data-start=\"2073\" data-end=\"2136\">Pathway 3 \u2013 Regional NSW Graduate (Opening 19 January 2026)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2138\" data-end=\"2166\">To qualify, applicants must:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2168\" data-end=\"2314\">\n<li data-start=\"2168\" data-end=\"2244\">\n<p data-start=\"2170\" data-end=\"2244\">Hold a <strong data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2208\">bachelor\u2019s degree or higher<\/strong> from a university in regional NSW<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2245\" data-end=\"2314\">\n<p data-start=\"2247\" data-end=\"2314\">Nominate an occupation listed on the <strong data-start=\"2284\" data-end=\"2312\">NSW Regional Skills List<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2316\" data-end=\"2388\">Further details will be available on the official NSW migration website.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2459\"><strong data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2459\">Pathway 2 \u2013 Invitation by NSW (Possible from April 2026)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2461\" data-end=\"2660\">NSW will assess the demand for Pathways 1 and 3 before deciding on Pathway 2. If required, the earliest round for Pathway 2 will occur in <strong data-start=\"2599\" data-end=\"2613\">April 2026<\/strong>. More updates will follow closer to that date.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2667\" data-end=\"2709\"><strong data-start=\"2670\" data-end=\"2709\">What Counts as a Valid Application?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2711\" data-end=\"2759\">An application is considered valid only when it:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2761\" data-end=\"2999\">\n<li data-start=\"2761\" data-end=\"2825\">\n<p data-start=\"2763\" data-end=\"2825\">Meets all NSW eligibility criteria at the time of submission<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2826\" data-end=\"2918\">\n<p data-start=\"2828\" data-end=\"2918\">Includes a <strong data-start=\"2839\" data-end=\"2866\">valid skills assessment<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2868\" data-end=\"2884\">English test<\/strong>, and other supporting documents<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2919\" data-end=\"2999\">\n<p data-start=\"2921\" data-end=\"2999\">Ensures the documents stay valid for at least <strong data-start=\"2967\" data-end=\"2997\">five days after submission<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3001\" data-end=\"3057\">Only valid applications will enter the processing queue.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3064\" data-end=\"3109\"><strong data-start=\"3067\" data-end=\"3109\">Processing Times and Priority Requests<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3111\" data-end=\"3246\">NSW normally takes <strong data-start=\"3130\" data-end=\"3149\">up to six weeks<\/strong> to assess applications.
