According to PHAC, Canada&#8217;s high vaccination rates, low hospitalisation and mortality rates, as well as the availability and usage of vaccine boosters, are the main reasons why travel restrictions have been lifted. The government continues to strongly advise travellers to use masks and properly check their health.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos, &#8220;We have reached the stage where we can safely relax the sanitary precautions at the border thanks in large part to Canadians who have rolled up their sleeves to be immunised.&#8221; However, we anticipate that COVID-19 and other respiratory infections will continue to spread during the chilly months, therefore I urge everyone to maintain current COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster shots, and to practise personal public health measures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ArriveCan&#8217;s availability will change<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Travellers travelling from overseas will no longer be required to download the ArriveCan app. Travellers won&#8217;t have to upload their schedule and immunisation documentation to the app to show CBSA officers anymore.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>There are no requirements for domestic travel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In response to the worldwide view on the COVID-19 pandemic, this news was anticipated.
