\nAccording to a \u2018Sunday Times\u2019 report, the British government is planning to pilot a scheme from November targeted at visitors from at least six countries, also including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Ghana.<\/p>\n
Tourists aged 18 and over would be forced to hand over 3,000 pounds for a six-month visit visa, which they will forfeit if they overstay in Britain.<\/p>\n
The weekly paper said the move by Home Secretary Theresa May is designed to show that Prime Minister David Cameron\u2019s Conservative Party is serious about cutting immigration and abuses of the system.<\/p>\n
Cameron wants annual net migration down below 100,000 by 2015.<\/p>\n
