The budget provided clear instructions towards the need of streaming the Express Entry Immigration Program which is an important notification for all the potential immigrants from India.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A complete section in the Canada\u2019s Federal Budget states that the Government of Canada has intentions to propose required changes towards the Immigration and Refuges Protection Act in order to further provide the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) with the responsibility to use the government approved instructions in order to help in the selection of those candidates who would best meet the labour market needs of Canada from the increasing pool of candidates that are in queue to become the permanent residents of Canada through the Express Entry System.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The budget has not given an specific instructions but the implementation of streamlining of the most prominent immigration program will allow the Canadian Government to ensure that the complete immigration system will emerge as a responsive and dedicated plan to help Canada with their ever growing economic and labour force needs and thereby assisting the government to reach it immigration level plans proposed to be achieve between 2021-2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Government of Canada has proposed an ambitious goal of granting the permanent residence visa to over 4 lakh individuals in the year 2021, followed by approximately 4.11 lakh and 4.21 lakhs in the subsequent two years period. However, with the ongoing restrictions imposed on businesses and services due to pandemic situations across the globe and also because of the closure of international borders, permanent residency visa invites are preferred to be issued to all those who are already in Canada and is the primary focus of the IRCC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Recently Canada has announced certain new pathways for the permanent residency for more than 90,000 essential workers, (in which, 20,000 applications are reserved only for those individuals that are working in the healthcare sector) and the international students already living in Canada, who have made an applauded contribution towards uplifting the country\u2019s economy during the pandemic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Immigration Experts also says that it is too early for them to predict any changes in the Express Entry System especially in the upcoming years, but it could be targeted at addressing the gaps in the skilled individuals in the healthcare and other essential businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In addition to the above information, the federal government of Canada has proposed an investment of CAD 438.9 million in the recent budget that will be disbursed over a period of five years and will be invested to modernized the information technology platforms within IRCC to amplify the processes related to immigration and eventually replace the current operational Global Case Management System.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Express Entry Program is one of the most popular immigration streams for the Indian nationals. In the year 2019 alone, Indian citizens (which also include those who were based overseas in various other countries) were able to accomplish a total of 40,275 invitations to apply for the Canadian permanent residence through the Express Entry Immigration System. The CRS score is further bifurcated into two portions. The \u201ccore\u201d score can reach to an upper limit of 600 points and depends on common human capital factors as mentioned above. Second, an additional 600 points are added towards the profile of the candidate if they meet the other important objectives such as having a provincial nomination, an offer of employment from a Canadian Employer, Canadian education and French language proficiency test results or a blood relative in Canada. Frequent draws takes place to select the eligible candidates from the pool.
