{"id":10252,"date":"2021-04-13T10:10:28","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T10:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/updates\/?p=10252"},"modified":"2021-04-23T10:15:00","modified_gmt":"2021-04-23T10:15:00","slug":"third-largest-pnp-draw-of-2021-announced-by-british-columbia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/updates\/third-largest-pnp-draw-of-2021-announced-by-british-columbia\/","title":{"rendered":"Third Largest PNP Draw of 2021 announced by British Columbia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>So far in the year 2021, the province of British Columbia has issued a total of 3,441 invitations to apply for the nomination via its range of PNP immigration streams<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>April 14, 2021<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationxperts.com\/canada-immigration\/british-columbia-provincial-nominee-program\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">issued invitations to a total of 452 immigration candidates through four different Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws that were announced by the province on April 13.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The invitations to invite (ITA) letters were issued to the applicants from the Express Entry (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) immigration streams that are operated and managed by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). Precisely, skilled and eligible candidates who received nominations were selected from the Skilled Worker, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled as well as International Graduate sub-streams of the SI and EEBC immigration streams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The minimum requirement of the scores for this largest draw of the province issued the invitations, range between 79 and 95 points. A total of 420 applicants received invitation in this draw. For the fifth time in the year 2021, the provincial government of British Columbia also announced a separate draw which was conducted for the individuals working in the occupations, such as, retail and wholesale trade managers (NOC 0621) and restaurant and food service managers (NOC 0631), where a total of 21 nomination letters were issued to applicants with a minimum score of 113.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The additional 11 invitations were issued by the province through the Entrepreneur Immigration Pathway.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The province has till now held 23 rounds of invitations through its Provincials Nominee Program Draws, thereby making the total number of invitations issues in the year 2021 to 3,441.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">BC releases draws through two PNP categories and stream every week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In order to apply for the Skills Immigration or the Express Entry BC categories, applicants should first create an Expression of Interest in the BC PNP\u2019s online portal and register themselves under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applicants are assessed and issued a score on the basis of the factors that includes level of education, work experience, proficiency in the English language and also the location of their employment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If an applicant gets approval on their application, then they can use their nomination to apply for the permanent residence through the Express Entry System which is directly operated by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Express Entry candidates who receive a nomination from the provincial nominee program of British Columbia will be then awarded an additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of the Express Entry profiles, thereby increasing their chances to get considered and receive an ITA in the subsequent federal express entry draw.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The British Columbia PNP is one of the provincial nominee programs of Canada.
