Express Entry draw figures for the recent July 8 all-program draw are below.

The latest federal draw released on July 8 for immigration to Canada is an all-program draw, which implies that all the eligible and talented candidates in the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) and the Federal Skilled Trades (FST) program will be taken into consideration for the nomination. In the recent July 8 federal government’s Express Entry draw, a total of 3,900 candidates were being issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off for this draw was equivalent to 478 points. This is largely been perceived as the first all-program draw since the last such draw that took place on March 4, 2020 as after that the Covid-19 restrictions led the IRCC to temporarily limit the draw to only those candidates who were more likely to be present inside the Canada through PNP and CEC focused draws.

A return to draws for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) candidates Since the Covid-19 pandemic became a public health crisis across Canada, the IRCC had restricted the draws to only those applicants that have submitted their application either under the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) or the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). However, on July 8, the Express Entry System operated and managed by the Federal Government of Canada again returned with the all-program draw after a wait of almost 4 months.

As was expected, the CRS cut-off threshold is higher certainly points than before the restriction on the draws begin and is 478 points. Although, this can be seen as only few points higher than that it was before the Covid-19 situation, so FSW candidates that are present in the pool have many reasons to be optimistic that the cut-off score for the federal Express Entry draw will come down over the coming draws. However, the possibility that some program-specific draw will still take place is also around. Along with it, while the Covid-19 health crisis remains to be under control across many parts of Canada, the situation across the world still remains uncertain and subsequent shockwaves may continue to return for the Canadian Immigration.
